La chanteuse californienne revient sur le devant de la scène avec Alluvion, sorti le 25 mars sur le label bordelais Talitres. Un septième album dont le logiciel musical reste globalement dans la continuité du précédent, en flirtant parfois avec des accents shoegaze et pop synthétiques. Terreau créatif, Alluvion aborde les crises successives auxquelles planète et société sont confrontées, en offrant à l’auditeur qui un espace d’introspection, qui une fenêtre cathartique. Dans cette nouvelle démonstration de lyrisme militant, Emily Jane White reste fidèle à ses lignes mélodiques en conservant toute la puissance de son verbe et la mélancolie de son expression.
